High-speed
trains that average speeds of 200 kph, are a great way to move around
Europe quickly and efficiently. High-Speed trains go by different
names in different countries, and usually only cover specific routes.
Depending on the country a reservation and/or supplement may be
required for regular point-to-point ticket holders and Eurail passholders.
If a train you are interested
in requires reservations, All Europe Rail can make them for you
only after you have purchased your Eurail passes or tickets. Reservations
costs are not included in the price of
Eurail passes, and most point-to-point tickets. Once reservations
are made they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If your plans
are flexible we recommend you make them in Europe as you go. If
you must be on a certain train on a certain date you should make
reservations before you leave, particularly if you are traveling
in high season : June, July and August. In addition there is $7.00
per order, one time premier train fee for some high-speed trains.
For more information click on the name of the train below.
If you are interested in making reservations
