| Should I make a reservation? |
If your plans are flexible All Europe Rail recommends making them in Europe, as they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you must be on a certain train on a certain date, then you should make them before you leave, especially if your travel is during high-season: June, July, August.
If you plan to travel on a high-speed or premier train (i.e. Eurostar Chunnel) you are required to make reservations and All Europe Rai recommends that you make them before you leave to avoid lines and the hassle of having to explain what you want in another language.
If you have purchased your Eurail pass or Eurail tickets with All Europe Rail there is not service charge for making reservations; the only additional cost is the reservations themselves which start at $11 per seat, per person, per leg and overnight train reservations which start at $29 per person, per seat, per leg. |
