Just wanted to express my opinion on your "excellent" customer service. I did not purchase my Eurail from alleuroperail.com but from your competitor (railpass.com), big mistake on my part and I will not purchase from railpass.com again. In any case, here's my story. I purchased 2 Eurail passes and a friend who's going on the trip with me bought two Eurail passes from alleuroperail.com back in the week of 23 May 2003. Unbeknownst to us both, we had accidently put the same name on each of our second Eurail passes. So I figured, no big deal, I just call the company that I had purchased my Eurail passes from (railpass.com) and ask them to re-issue me a new Eurail pass. They told me that I could not change the name on my Eurail pass, even though I had only bought it a few days ago. I would have to cancel Eurail pass since I bought the extra Eurail pass insurance subject to a 15% charge. In addition, I would have to purchase a new Eurail pass at full price. If that wasn't bad enough, I would not receive my refund for the cancelled Eurail pass until 4-6 weeks. Wow! And they flaunt their customer service issue. And I asked them repeatedly if there were any other options, they said no repeatedly. Then my friend called the company where he bought his Eurail passes, alleuroperail.com, to see if he could change his Eurail pass instead. (You see 4 of us are going to europe but 2 Eurail passes had the same name, -it was our mistake, I admit, for putting the wrong names on the tickets. We're all students and we had a tight budget for the entire trip). To our surprise, alleuroperaill.com, said that it wasn't a problem to change the name. Wow! alleuroperail.com came through for us and saved the day. This was a once in a lifetime trip to europe we had been planning for a long time.
Not to ramble on any long, THANK YOU ALLEUROPERAIL.COM for your EXCELLENT customer service. I will buy all my Eurail passes from alleuroperail.com from now on, I've learned my lesson. I will not purchased from that other company again.
