Train Reservations
If your plans are flexible All Europe Rail recommends making them in Europe, as they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If you must be on a certain train on a certain date, then you should make them before you leave, especially if your travel is during high-season: June, July, August. Return to Top All Europe Rail will only make reservations for clients who have already
purchased their Eurail passes, and/or point-to-point tickets from All
Europe Rail. Fill out all reservations you would like made in the SPECIAL
INSTRUCTIONS section of the chekout form in our shopping cart. If you
have already submitted your order please send an e-mail to booking@alleuroperail.com
with your reservations request. You will receive an itinerary and reservations
pricing, which must be approved by you before finalizing any booking.
When making your reservations request, we encourage you to consult Deutsche
Bahn's (DB)Train
Schedules and
give us a specific train and time, otherwise a general time will do.
We will do our best to make sure you have reservations on the train
you request. All Europe Rail can reserve trains with the designation
NZ (Nachtzug) and CNL (City Night Line) on DB's train schedules, however
these reservations incur a $15 handling charge. Trains with the designation
CNL (City Night Line) on DB's train schedules are not discounted for
Eurail Passholders in most cases. How will I know the cost of the reservations? Once you have made your request an agent will book it, and call you to explain the costs. If you approve the reservations costs, they will be finalized by All Europe Rail. After this final approval reservations can no longer be exchanged or refunded. Return to Top I only need this point-to-point ticket and reservation for this date, what if there is no availability? Once you have placed your order for point-to-point tickets All Europe Rail will try to make the reservation for you. If there is no availability then you will not be charged for point-to-point tickets or reservations. Return to Top Can All Europe Rail check availability for me? All Europe Rail can only check availability for clients that have already placed an order. Should there be no availability for the requested date then the client will not be charged. Return to Top I did not buy my pass or tickets with All Europe Rail, can they still make reservations for me? All Europe Rail will make reservations for persons that have purchased
passes or tickets elsewhere for a $25.00 agency fee. This fee includes
reservations for up to 2 trips. Reservations for more than 2 trips will
be made at an additional $15.00 each. This doesn't include the cost
of the reservations themselves. Shipping costs will be paid by the customer.

Costs How far in advance can I make reservations? Reservations can only be made 60 days in advance from the last scheduled travel date for point-to-point tickets on regular trains, 90 days in advance for high-speed trains and 120 days in advance for the Eurostar/chunnel train. Return to Top When do I have to make a reservation? If you travel on an overnight train and would like sleeping accommodations you will be required to pay a supplement and make a reservation. Also, most high-speed trains require a supplement and/or reservation. See our high-speed train page for more information. These reservations can be made in Europe, if you are not sure of your itinerary. Return to Top Reservations disclosure: Return to Top Reservations will only be made for travelers who have purchased their tickets or Eurail passes with All Europe Rail.Travelers who would like reservations, and have not purchased with All Europe Rail, have to pay an agency fee. Reservations costs are not included in the price of rail passes. Simple seat reservations start at $11.00 per person, but can vary by type of accomodation desired, by train and by route. All Europe Rail will price reservations and then obtain customer approval before final booking. Once All Europe Rail has obtained approval for and proceeded with the booking of reservations they are no longer refundable or exchangeable. All reservations are subject to availability and final confirmation takes 24 to 48 hours after booking. |
